Whistler Park has a large playground, ball fields and room for dogs to run. Walking paths follow the creeks and roads, and the adjacent Priest Creek Open Space has hiking trails. The free city bus runs through the neighborhood, and the Yampa River Core Trail heads north toward town.

Units date from the early 1980s and are nearly all two-bedroom townhomes with one or two baths and about 920 to 970 square feet. Layout and level of updates account for much of the price difference between units.
